With standard support for UFR II and PCL5c/6, optional Adobe® PostScript® 3™ emulation, available corner-staple finishing, and paper sizes up to ledger, all your general office documents can be produced quickly and reliably.

OPTIMIZED DOCUMENT PROCESSING

Support for UFR II and PCL5c/6 is standard on the Canon Color imageRUNNER LBP5975/5970 devices. UFR II is optimized to produce high-speed color and monochrome documents by automatically distributing data processing between the print driver on the user’s desktop computer and the device. Canon’s print driver architecture is also consistent across the entire imageRUNNER line, simplifying and standardizing the task of producing documents and enabling users to switch between different page description languages.

ADVANCED WORKFLOW SUPPORT

The Color imageRUNNER LBP5975/5970 devices can meet the advanced applications requirements of environments such as education and medical though options for PostScript 3 emulation and bar code printing. The PostScript 3 option delivers accurate rasterization of PS3 print data, while the Barcode Printing option ensures the accurate printing of barcodes. Frequently printed documents can also be stored on the device when the Hard Disk Drive option is installed, and quickly printed through the Remote UI utility. Administrators can also track total device output through the same counter system technology and functionality used in imageRUNNER MFP devices.

COMPACT FINISHING CAPABILITIES

A compact corner-stapling feature is standard on the Color imageRUNNER LBP5975 device, making it convenient for users to produce multipage documents from the print driver. The finisher can staple up to 15 sheets of letter or ledger paper at a time in a variety of corner positions.**

WIRELESS LAN CONNECTIVITY

The imageRUNNER LBP5975/5970 models can use Canon’s new Wireless LAN Kit option—the latest in wireless technology—to connect to a Local Area Network. Supported standards include 802.11g and 802.11b for up to 54 Mbps and 11 Mbps transmission
