What is Universal Send™?

Universal Send™ enables users to scan hard-copy originals, convert them into digital documents, and push them to multiple destinations in one operation. Scanned documents may be distributed via the Internet, public telephone lines, using the company's existing Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure, and printed - in any combination.

When configured with Universal Send, imageRUNNER devices are transformed from digital copier/printer/scanners into digital communications hubs - the center of any workgroup's or department's document creation and distribution applications. This will eliminate all hassles associated with pull scanning and will utilize the existing network, which saves bandwidth and costs. Furthermore, you can send to a variety of destinations simultaneously and store up to 1,800 destinations total, including 200 One-Touch buttons and 18 favorite buttons.
